Beyond the stage and screen, Casimere Jollette has captured the lens for media giants and brought her poise to brand campaigns. “I’m a ballet dancer, actor, creator, and model based in New York, and I’ve also delved into the fashion world along the way. What still surprises me is how much I’ve been able to take on without even realizing it. It keeps me happy, keeps me busy, and most of all, it keeps things exciting and fresh. I love it.
To escape the city’s craziness, I walk to Triskelion Arts in Brooklyn a few times a week; the dance studio is my sanctuary, a place to focus and recharge. I also find peace at Transmitter Park along the Greenpoint Waterfront, where I walk my dog and let the gentle sounds of the water reset my energy.
When it comes to style, I’d describe mine as chic and sometimes tomboyish, with the occasional pop of color to keep things fun.
My advice to aspiring creators? Stay true to yourself. Don’t let anyone’s comments steer you away from what you love, believe in, and want to do. That authenticity is everything.”

“Growing up, I never thought I’d live in the city, let alone work in the Lower East Side. Yet, it’s funny now to see how everything is connected.
Today, I spend 90% of my time at Scarr’s Pizza, a place that’s given me so much. It’s pretty mind-boggling to me that I have a career that involves so many different moving parts: fashion, cooking, and modelling, and I’m grateful for it.
Columbus Park is super special to me as well. I spent so much time there as a kid, right across from the Chen Dance Center where my mom insisted I attend. Thursdays after school and Saturday mornings were dedicated to two-hour piano classes, followed by trips to the park and an ice cream, her way of making it up to me.
When it comes to style, I’d describe mine as very simple. The Margiela Sprinters I own are probably the craziest shoes in my rotation right now. But if I were a shoe, I’d be a construction or hiking boot. Just because I’m pretty resilient. Maybe even a Timberland.”
